Introduction

Dr Madeline Stringer

Dr Madeline Ann Stringer M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O., M.F.Hom., M.N.S.P.H., qualified in medicine from Trinity College Dublin in 1977.

After graduation I gained experience in geriatrics, psychiatry, and women's medicine and practise the latter part-time with the Irish Family Planning Association, and previously with the Dublin Well Woman Centre. In 1983, after the birth of my second child, I ‘discovered’ homeopathy, and that set me on the path to my present practice, in which I use three ‘alternative’ or ‘complementary’ therapies.

My homeopathic practice is like that of a specialist rather than a ‘GP’. I am on the Faculty of Homeopathy specialist register. The Faculty is based in London, and I studied in the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital on Great Ormonde Street.

I have trained in the ‘Bowen Technique’, a very powerful but gentle physical treatment for many problems. I am an active member of Accredited Bowen Therapists of Ireland.

My hypnotherapy qualification is from the National Society for Professional Hypnotherapy, based in Scotland. I practise 'Past Reality Integration Therapy' with a diploma from the Tasso Institute, of Utrecht and Amersfoort, Netherlands. I trained in California in 2004 with the Society for Spiritual Regression, under the overall supervision of Dr Michael Newton.

I accept self-referred clients as well as referrals from other health professionals.
